William Timothy Kirk (Stephen) is a convicted armed robber and, while at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, is also accused of assault and the double murder of two fellow prisoners. Mary Evans (Laura Stockman) is his attorney, a young naive woman who becomes infatuated with him and helps him escape. They are caught in Florida when they ask one of his former inmates to wire them money. Also starred Mariska Hargitay as Agent Michell Evans.
